Pray for Obama ... To Die?

Oh, isn't this just adorable: a teddy bear that encourages children to pray for our President. To die. Right-Wing Christian Conservatives are urging people to "Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8" with bumper stickers, t-shirts, mugs, and even teddy bears. Such amazing grace Christian sentiment, and just in time for the Thanksgiving/Holiday Season! But if you read Psalm 109 it says, "Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow." "Let his days be few; Let another take his office." Ruh oh. Is this what "compassionate conservatism" is about? Having their personal God/Jesus smite Obama?

Do these so called "Christians" really want Obama to die, or is this just another one of those "meant to be funny" (wink wink) anti-Obama Teabagger Birther Little Hussein Racist Monkey Doll Nazi Socialist Communist Terrorist End of the World Death Panel Obama's Gonna Kill Grandma so Get Your Gun cuz the President is really a Muslim ... punch lines?

If all this fear-mongering, racist-hateful, and anti-government propaganda led by Fox News and Glenn Beck and the Teabaggers really leads to (God forbid) religious zealot plots to kill our President, we doubt it will be the handiwork of loony Al-Qaeda. We've got plenty of radical and dangerous Christian right-wing racist extremist/terrorists right here in the Good Old U.S. of A(holes).

CafePress has recently taken these dread-laden products off the market. Thank God.

What angers me so much about this is that these people are using children and their toys to spew hatred in such a devious way.

The rest of our "fair & balanced" (wink wink) local blogosphere seems to have not noticed this story (?)Kudos for calling out the local racist/hate chapter...

10:58, it seems "these people" can always "go lower," doesn't it?

11:37, it's our calling ... more on the "local chapter" coming later ...

I hate it when people say that this falls under free speech, and we should not deny people that right. This anti-Obama racist hate is really way over the line, like screaming FIRE in a crowded theatre, it's inciting violence and calling for murder.

Now scott armstrong knows what to put on his xmas list. (I know, that's being mean. But the truth hurts.)

Bill Villa said...

Good one, 1:28, and there's nothing "mean" about exposing the truth ... and the truth is that that racist comment at Scott Armstrong's "Allentown Commentator" blog is kept up there, proudly, and on purpose. This is a pathetically sad truth that demands some consequences-- the least of which being "calling lil Scottie out" on it, which nobody else around here ('cept us) has the Civic Duty Balls to do b/c they're either racist themselves or pusillanimous or both.

OK, we're starting to veer ever so slightly "OT", people, let's stay on topic ;D

Bill Villa said...

I'll get us back on track ...

Readers, Robert E. Smith, Jr.
is President of the Allentown School District Board of Education.

Here's "Bob" addressing the klansmen at The Allentown Commentator blog w/ the warm and spooky greeting, "My fellow Commentator members ..." and clearly identifying himself as "Robert E smith Jr. The only Republican on school board at the current time.." and he even gives his (presumably) home email address, esmitty4@aol.com.

Among his "fellow commentator members," Bob is always most welcome (white hood optional) and he's also apparently something of a "card" and a "cut up" what w/ his anti-Obama political humor, which is fine, hey, it IS a free country and Bob IS a flaming NeoCon Republican ... as his dismaying endorsement of this yahoo raising "interesting points" reveals. Geez Bob, you're in EDUCATION for Christ's sake.

But when another "fellow commentator member" posted the racist crap called out here earlier, ASD Board President Bob Smith had nuthin' to say about it.

Not a word.

Of course none of Scotty and Bob's other "fellow commentator members" did either.

Finally at like 1:00 in the morning the next day, one brave soul, a a Ray Greenberg from Conshohocken weighed in and asked:

"Please tell me...what was the purpose of this post, if not overt racism? WELL??"

Here's what the host of lil Scotty's "Hate Hutch," Scott Armstrong, had to say to Ray Greenberg ...

"Let's be careful before we make the very serious charge of racism here."

Seriously, Scotty? You're not sure the comment was racist? Readers, notice how Scotty closes the comment by saying:

"I agree the point could have been drawn in a less derisive manner."

BUT ARMSTRONG KEEPS THE COMMENT UP THERE ... TO THIS DAY.

And shows us his true colors:

"The sad truth is that misguided efforts to help those who may be disadvantaged by demanding less of them has unfortunate results. If affirmative action was a solution to poor performance would anyone with a good heart be against it?" -Scott Armstrong

And Robert E. Smith, Jr., lil Scotty's "fellow commentator member," and President of the Allentown School District Board of Education ...

says nuthin'.

Readers, "anon" (wink wink) 6:29 meant to link us to this moldy article and, ho ho ho, nice try, Santa.

There's no comparison whatsoever between the random and disorganized W blow-back (which he earned and deserved btw) and having an entire mainstream "news" (wink wink) network, FOX, and affiliates like Dick Armey and FreedomWorks whipping up 30 million snake-handling, Bible-thumping zealots who are now petitioning God to bump off Barack Obama and who have already started righteously murdering abortion doctors, btw.

Most noteworthy: no R-A-C-I-S-M involved in all that well-deserved Bush Hate; Obama Hate is like 98% racism.

Big Difference.

Scott Armstrong proudly keeps his "hate flag flying"

in the very same identical way that O'Hare keeps purposefully hateful comments up at his blog.

To provoke, and to start trouble.

And then to cry (and file "harassment" charges) when trouble shows up to defend himself.

It's (duh) "cause and effect." And if one "dishes it out," one should expect to have it dished back at one, 10-fold, and w/ the dish-back getting all over both of your allies and all those hiding in Switzerland. That's how it works. Just sayin'.

Bill Villa said...

Is Bernie O'Hare's blogging equipment paid for by Rong Angle ? Is Bernie O'Hare engaged in "payola" the way DJ's of a by gone ear were ? Inquiring minds want to know.

Bill Villa said...

It's our understanding that O'Hare admitted to the "pay to play" from Ron Angle (a new computer) but only after being confronted w/ it ... a.k.a. "hide in plain sight."

This is almost too weird and sick to comment on. The morally bankrupt who turn to religion so their hate can be justified that’s great.

Bill Villa said...

Yep. Weird and sick indeed ...

like the persistent "anonymous" (wink wink) commenter who keeps sending us links to articles that "demonstrate" how people (and the media, etc.) were just as lousy to poor old President George W. Bush, who of course made no mistakes, and did not deserve any criticism heat .. at all. Unlike Obama (natch) who, in one year in office, has committed transgressions so evil he deserves to die-- at the hand of a prayer-answering God. Got that everybody?
