The Morning Call's "appropriate handling"

Email, Outgoing, to Board of Ethics of the City of Allentown, cc'd to Mayor Pawlowski, City Clerk Mike Hanlon

FYI: in today's Morning Call, "reporter" Jarrett Renshaw is clearly endeavoring to attract and incite a crowd of support for Michael Donovan vs Mayor Pawlowski.

Blog post blasts Allentown Mayor

Curiously, although the article is about Donovan's blog, notice the glaring omission of the Allentown Ethics Board's
investigation of Donovan for his questionable blogging activities.

How is this fact not news in this context?

Also take note that Renshaw's article links to (as other "news" sources) two blog posts by frequent Michael Donovan guest abuser blogger, and libel lawsuit defendant, Bernie O'Hare, Lehigh Valley Ramblings.

I bring this to your attention re:

171.04 USE OF POSITION OR PRESTIGE FOR PERSONAL BENEFIT

... as it relates to the way too crony-cozy-connected relationships that exist between Michael Donovan, The Morning Call, Valley Blogosphere, and the heavily dominant
Morning Call-affiliated local blogosphere.

Have a nice weekend all.

Millie Perez ... is this what you meant by "handled as appropriate?"

Donovan is a zero when it comes to his influence or contributions to city council. He's done for. I disagree with your view that the story slams the mayor. Instead, I think the morning call story shines a spotlight on his lack of substance: Donovan equates legislating and leadership with name calling. Sadly for Donovan, the Morning Call readers extend beyond the closed circle that reads the blogs. The mayor, I think, handled this to his advantage.

1:32, I agree w/ you that Donovan is a zero w/ zero influence and is done for. Well said.

I also agree w/ you that the "newspaper" story shines a light on Donovan's zero substance.

I hope you're right about the Mayor handling Renshaw to his advantage, in the perception of Morning Call readers-- although the tea bagging knuckle-draggers the "newspaper" is pandering to these days would likely disagree w/ both of us I'm sure, and they could be the majority of Morning Call "readers."

Big Picture: Mike Donovan appears to be totally exposed as being totally unhinged lately, and I (humbly) give myself majority credit for this. I'm positive the electorate will reject him should he dare trying to run for any office ever again, b/c I'll personally make sure of this.

Now let's all get to work together to similarly destroy Bernie O'Hare and we'll have something very positive happening locally.

Yeah, hey thanks, Bill, but we don't need your help deciding what's "fit to print."

Have a nice day!
