Donovan: Yellow. Mellow? Not so much anymore ...

UpDate: We call him Yellow Mellow, "quite rightly."

Here's why ...

------------

Readers, FYI, we had a status conference in front of Judge Reibman this morning regarding our civil litigation vs. O'Hare.

Guess who was there, cowering and glowering in the back row (and w/ smoke billowing from his nostrils) in support of lawsuit defendant (and Blogging Idol) and Nazareth/NorCo resident O'Hare?

Guess ...

Yep. Allentown City Council Vice President (for now) and Nutty (ethics) Professor Michael Donovan, pictured above rehearsing ways to avoid taking The "Pooley Pledge."

Yesterday, formerly Mellow Donovan was spotted at a South Whitehall Township blog, "Mike's Memory Lane" calling Allentown commenters "jerks" and "assholes." How uncivil (and unhinged) and definitely not mutually respectful. Oh well.

On a related subject ... Email, Outgoing, to Morning Call "Managing" Editor Dave Erdman and Really Determined Truth Concealer/Assistant Mike Miorelli, cc'd to Tim Ryan and Millie Perez

Q. Why isn't The Morning Call reporting on the fact that Allentown City Council Vice President, ethics professor, and Morning Call "Valley Blogosphere" blogger Michael Donovan is being investigated by the
Board of Ethics of the City of Allentown?

Allentown voters are entitled to know about this, and a newspaper has a responsibility to inform the electorate.

As regular readers of this blog (we see
Morning Call staffers on our SiteMeter(R) dozens of times every day), you know that Mr. Donovan has published sadistically cruel, false, and clearly libelous comments at his Morning Call-published blog that claim I ...

* engage in necrophilia w/ my deceased daughter

* have made "terroristic threats" against Lehigh County DA Jim Martin

* have "threatened to kill" employees of The Morning Call

These and hundreds of other comments that amount to criminal harassment and libel at Donovan's
Morning Call-published blog are all false.

Allentown Ethics Board Loses Member (temporarily)

RE: Board of Ethics of the City of Allentown

On May 7, 2010, at 4:50:25 PM, J. Jackson Eaton, III wrote:

Dear Mr. Villa:

I am writing to you on behalf of the Board of Ethics of the City of Allentown to acknowledge your request for a written advisory opinion received May 5, 2010. In accordance with the requirements of Section 171.10(G) of the Code, a copy of the request has been forwarded to Mr. Donovan who, after receipt, will have fifteen (15) days to respond in writing and/or request a hearing. We will advise you if a hearing is requested.

The Board will process, consider and respond to your request in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Code of Ethics in [sic] the City of Allentown.

You had previously raised questions regarding possible conflicts of members of the Board that might preclude their participation in consideration of the issues raised in your request. The Rev. Canon Maria Tjeltveit acknowledges that Mr. Donovan resides nearby the church in which she serves and that he is a member of a community board of which she is chairperson. She does not believe that her acquaintance with Mr. Donovan or the proximity of his residence to her church will prevent her from rendering a fair, unbiased and objective consideration of the issues raised in your request.

Your request does allege [Editor's Note: "expose" would have been a more accurate word choice here] an improper relationship between Mr. Donovan and an entity presently represented by my law firm.

Accordingly, I will not participate in the deliberations or voting with regard to the advisory opinion which [sic] you have requested. [Translation: JJ has finally opted to recuse himself].

Sincerely,

cc:
Mayor Edward [sic] Pawlowski
Mr. Michael Hanlon, City Clerk
Dr. Rev. [sic] Grant Harrity
Mr. Hugh J. Gallagher
The Rev. Canon Maria Tjeltveit

Mr. Eaton, who will be replacing you as the "tie breaker" 5th member of the Ethics Board?

Also, although digital communications have advanced a long way since the time the Code of Ethics was adopted, Section 171.10(F) dealing with requests still provides in part that, "In no case shall the Board entertain a request that is not in writing and not signed by the person making the request." Accordingly, I must ask that you submit your acknowledgement of receipt again as mailed hard copy to me, signed by you. Thank you for your consideration.

Have a nice weekend, all.

Lehigh Valley Blogosphere

'ROUND THE BLAH-GAS-SMEAR

Mike Molovinsky: Is now on a "mission" to "confront hypocrisy," a.k.a.
Bernie O'Hare.

Oh okay now we get it. It had to be his idea.

LVCI: Quitters Never Win.

ElVee, if you need any tips on how to outmaneuver that self-duped dunce O'Hare, do give a ring.

Mellow Yellow: Allentown Ethics Board (sigh) here you come.

Geez. It's like professional wrestling in our local blogosphere, what w/ all the good guy, bad guy, flip-flopping continuously.

One week Chris Casey is O'Hare's beleaguered victim (or vice versa) and then before you know it Casey is french kissing O'Hare again (or email circulating chapters of a blog novel that depicts an O'Hare-esque blogging character from Nazareth dead at his computer w/ the keyboard inserted rectally and postmortem ouch).

Then Mike Molovinsky is O'Hare's victim du jour, or vice versa. And then Mikey is re-pledging his O'Hare allegiance (or kvetching at or about him).

Now LVCI is "on" to O'Hare (for now).

Sadly, Mike Donovan is permanently O'Hare-Duped.

Ditto Jeff Pooley. Pam Varkony. Dean Browning. Don Cunning-Ham. Alex Joseph. John Stoffa. Sal Panto. Tony Iannelli. The Morning Call "newspaper." Attorney (for now) Dave Najarian. Sheesh. It's all documented in our right sidebar content.

And then there's this (and Allentown Ethics Board take note b/c this one's especially for you) from the ...

Master Of Miss-Direction.

Well anyways, we're glad you're all (for now) finally seeing the light about O'Hare, "guys."

Pardonez-moi Angie and me as we set the Truth Trends and stay above the fray.

Just sayin'.
