Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) is a disgraced ex-member of Congress. In 2005, a Texas Grand Jury indicted DeLay on criminal charges that he conspired to violate campaign finance laws. Republican Conference Rules forced him to resign temporarily as House Majority Leader.In Jan 2006, he announced he would not return to his position, but in March 2006 he ran and won the Republican primary election, but in April 2006 he withdrew from the race and resigned his seat in Congress. DeLay is currently facing charges of money laundering and conspiracy to launder money. He has connections to convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Two of his former aides were convicted in the Abramoff scandal. You may remember DeLay as being outspoken and w/ out shame in the Terri Schiavo case. He has adopted Rush Limbaugh's stance of wanting President Obama to fail and has called Obama a "Marxist."
Q. Why would Chris Matthews have Tom DeLay on Hardball or give any credibility to DeLay? He didn't challenge DeLay much, and let him rattle on. Do you think Matthews did this to make the R's look like fools? Have the whacky extremists become the mainstream in the Republican Party?

But this blog's link to his blog twisting and taunting and torturing already abused women got me there and I've been checking back. 100+ comments on a blog about stolen campaign signs? On a Monday? Yeah that's real believable especially when all the comments are by "anonymous" (wink wink) and are spaced 2 minutes apart. One busy beaver. But the best part is how you Villas are emboldening and empowering people to PUSH BACK against O'Hater. Today he's slamming Pawlowski and Ann McHale and lots of people are head butting him.
