In a delicious display of poetic irony, Teabaggers rallying against "government takeover of healthcare" (wink wink) in Washington this week were saved by government healthcare workers. Yep. One protester suffered a heart attack, and four other elderly protesters needed emergency treatment. Luckily, medical professionals from the Capitol's physician's office were on the scene immediately to save these NeoCon lives. The rally was organized by wacky right wingnut Michele Bachman (R-MN). The man who suffered the heart attack was being wheeled away on a stretcher just as House Minority Leader John Boehner stepped up to the microphone to talk about the dangers of the Democrat's socialized medicine and communist agenda. Why didn't John Boner intervene and protect the 4 fallen Teabaggers from the dangers of socialized medicine?! See story here
Above photo is of protesters holding a sign with picture of corpses from Dachau. How horrifying to compare the public option to The Holocaust! At this rally, Rep. Steve King(R-IA) actually autographed a teabagger sign that said "Ken-ya Trust Obama?" Nice.

The Teabaggers will take over, as pusillanimous democrats snooze.
Present company excluded of course.
Merci ;D
Why don't the teabaggers protest Medicare and Social Security if they think the govt. is so dangerous?
Good point Marylou. Such hypocrisy. And that Michele Bachman is really spooky.
If you look at the signs these people hold up, you can see their racism and ignorance. I read that there was a protester holding a sign of Obama as "jovial Sambo."
Gee, I wonder if any of those emergency healthcare workers were black, Muslim, or gay?
Seniors are so scared, they will believe anything Faux News reports.
EMERGENCY — Representative Bart Stupak has just introduced an amendment to the health care reform bill that will eliminate coverage for abortion care. I just called my Rep. and you should, too. Call 202-730-9001 and ask him or her to reject the amendment.

I see the teabagers took a break the other day to start a jihad against non-white, non-Christians as a result of the Ft. Hood shootings. But sadly, some Christian in Orlando the next day decided to cap a bunch of people and that seemed to leave the wingnuts paralyzed with confusion.
Good point anon 2:08. The vile anti-Muslim comments allowed and therefore endorsed at the Morning Call Forum at the Ft. Hood article yesterday were disturbing.
The wingnuts seem to forget how many people were killed by David Koresh,Uni-bomber,Timothy McVeigh,at Columbine,at Virginia Tech,in Killeen TX, and others.
From change.org
"Representative Bart Stupak (D-MI) offered an anti-abortion amendment to the House health care bill last night as a compromise when 40 anti-abortion Democrats threatened to vote against the bill. According to Rep. Jan Schakowsky (IL-9), the amendment makes little sense since it prevents women who pay with their own money from getting a plan that covers reproductive care. For now, segments of the GOP and Bluedog Democrats have replaced their hatred of immigrants with their contempt of women and the right to choose. The amendment passed 240-194 with the help of 64 Democrats, making it next to impossible for low-income women who need abortion to afford health care in the United States."
Remember it was Dent who voted "no" to the health-care bill and "yes" to the abortion care (a legal medical procedure).
Dent is a flip flopper. He just voted Yes on Stupak. Here's long list of DEMS who voted yes on Stupak:

I'll look for list of 39 Dems who voted against HCR.

Democrats were forced to make major concessions on insurance coverage for abortions to attract the final votes to secure passage, a wrenching compromise for the numerous abortion-rights advocates in their ranks.
Many of them hope to make changes to the amendment during negotiations with the Senate, which will now become the main battleground in the health care fight as Democrats there ready their own bill for what is likely to be extensive floor debate.

((Me Again)) Hopefully, Democrats in the House and the Senate will take it 1 game at a time (like the Yankees did) and get that Stupid Amendment ejected in the final draft that goes to Manager Obama to sign into law. Game 1 goes to the Dems.
Brains & Beauty, Nancy Pelosi, our kind of gal.
BV, I understand that the Dems had to make compromises to get the bill passed, but this Stupak ammendment means women will lose coverage they have today, Obama promised that current coverage would not change, and it's all because of religious beliefs, Catholic guilt. It's politicians using healthcare reform to advance their own extreme ideological agenda at the expense of women.
Don't forget ... w/ legislation, it's not where you start, it's where you finish.
The House Bill (whose passage btw is the hugest healthcare reform progress since the Johnson administration; no U.S. President has gotten as far as Obama has and in his first year in office no less) is a great start. There's time and leverage to make the final bill the President signs have everything in there the majority of Americans want in there. How's this compromise: kill the Stupak clause or we'll make it truly universal healthcare reform, Medicare For All. Chew on that one for a while, RepubliCONS.
