Meet DA Jim Martin's Ballot Petition Challenge Attorney, Malcolm J. Gross

I know, I know, it's almost beyond crony-cozy-crooked incredible.

But considering that it's probably been about 10 years since DA Jim Martin staggered into a courtroom, he had to get somebody to defend him on Friday who sort of knows what he's doing.

So who does DA Jim Martin get? Get this ... he gets the co-founder (Malcolm Gross) of the law firm (Gross McGinley) that tomorrow's judge (Carol McGinley) also co-founded. Yep. Read that again.

Lehigh County "Democrat" (wink wink) Malcolm J. Gross is a member of the fundraising Host Committee to Reelect Republican DA Jim Martin.

Malcolm J. Gross also delivered a testimonial from the witness stand for homicidal drunk driver Robert LaBarre (Robert LaBarre killed my daughter Sheena) at LaBarre's sentencing that was conveniently never mentioned by The Morning Call "newspaper" (too messy, career-wise, sorry Don.)

Perpetually un-challenged DA Jim Martin doesn't even bother trying to make Friday's court outcome appear legitimate.
