As the hushed room watched and listened to the ticking of the time clock ... for :40 seconds ... Professor Donovan surfed the web on the laptop in front of him, as if he were lolling in his living room, and had nothing to say.
I'm looking forward to hearing from Cedar Crest legal counsel next week.

It takes a big person to apologize for something they did that hurt someone else. Only a very small person would refuse to apologize.
And folks are paying lots of money to Cedar Crest College to be taught by professors who are pretty much the lowest form of life??? Cedar Crest College should be ashamed to have this guy on their roster.

I'd just like to say here that Professor Donovan, and other city council people, have allied with dangerous and dirty pathological liars and sociopaths. I am referring to the local blogosphere and The Morning Call "newspaper." The Mayor and our elected leaders should be ostracizing and avoiding these snakes. Instead they give them credibility. And these college professors (Donovan and Pooley) call themselves civil? The unholy alliance between City Council and the local blahgassmear and the "newspaper" is bad for Allentown, our community, and for democracy.
Anyone who associates with the snakes, is a snake, and is not worthy of our friendship. The characteristics of a sociopath include an inability to feel empathy, and an inability to apologize.
Donovan's mistake was that he lost control of his blog to the hecklers. And in a pathetic attempt to join the "in crowd" he became one of them. His hubris (wanna read my tenure speech?... please?) prevents him from admitting, other than in a roundabout way, his error in judgment.
Here's the psycholgical makeup of a heckler: He (although they are not exclusiely male) have a sense of low personal worth; a need for approval; a deperate need for acknowledgment; a need for direction in their lives; and they generally use aggressive vocabulary in an attempt at initimidation.
Who does this sound like?
Hecklers are destroyers, not creators. After the last heckle is written ot yelled, they go back to their hellish existence.

It appears that foul-mouthed Team Casey/Donovan sniper "Iron PigPen" has been unceremoniously dumped from what the "newspaper" is now calling (with a straight face) their LV "NEWS" bloggers. Was it all those F-Bombs in his headlines? Or did he alienate a "News" blogging consultant? Oh well. I wonder if they'll ever notice that their "Latest Entry" from their "News" (wink wink) blogger Katie Bee was in June 2009, 2009, 2009.
