Chen Charges Forward!

Photos by Gianni Villa, age 7, except the one he is in , which I took. (Mrs. D)

The Chen Arts Group (CHARGE)'s 5th party/event was a smashing (and productive) success last night! Thanks to Joe Skrapits for hosting. And thanks to all who attended.
Now On The Agenda: Chen's 1st Group Art Show will be October 4 at Pete Lewnes's coo-el space-- prep, promo plans, and details following. This will be an all day event.

... thanks again Joe! That's the Antonio Salemme Foundation space at the Musselman Arts Building in Downtown Allentown where our meeting, I mean party was last night; Joe is head of the Salemme Foundation; and the paintings and sculpture Gianni Villa (7) photo-captured are all pieces done by Antonio Salemme. 'Nother point of clarification, "Bloggapallooza 1" is also on October 4 but it shouldn't be a problem for anyone to attend both events if they'd like to since Chen's 1st Group Art Show the same day (10/4) will be an all day event as Mrs. D mentioned. I'll be attending both events.

Great Night at the Chen. Kudos to Gianni for the photos. Like his parents he is very talented!

Thanks Z,
We had a great time. And G was really excited about the pictures. He took lots of cool fish shots too, but I did not post all of them! It's an interesting perspective, since he is shooting from a lower angle.

"It's an interesting perspective, since he is shooting from a lower angle." -Mrs. Dottie

(As an ad agency creative director), I humbly suggest that, next time shortstop Gianni Villa is shooting a Chen event that we put him up on a ladder to shoot so that we are all LOOKING UP AT HIM. This looking up (and craning back) posture will tighten all of our facial muscles and make us look 10 years younger, easy.

It was great meeting everyone and learning about Antonio Salemme--another A-town secret! I look forward to the next meeting. And promise not to leave early and miss House of Chen!

GO CHEN!

Hey Chris, I second Mrs. Dottie's "great meeting you," and yeah, don't miss House Of Chen next time, or any time. The Chen Chow Saturday night was, as usual, excellently delectable. Thanks Jenny Chen!
