Mr. O'Hare, regardless of which lawyers you and attorney (for now) Najarian are planning on interfering with (Villas lawyers or the defense's), what remains is your wanting to sabotage the case.
May I ask ... why?

After fancying himself a keeper of the torch of truth and integrity for so long, and to the extent that he eventually found himself championing the Villas' cause, his "reversal in thinking" and aggressive behavior is a profound obscenity. Not to mention that his apparent "aquiver" hop into bed with the DA-friendly Morning Call looks like a confederacy of weaklings. Anybody home, Allentown? Feel like moving even farther away.

Bill Villa has a high and challenging calling: unmasking two genuinely bad guys, one, your area's top law enforcement officer, and the other, your area's editorial and opinions valve, all the while dragging the grief of losing his wonderful daughter Sheena, who I happen to know Bill adored, with him each step of the way. The lawman and the newspaper man are obviously either hiding something very serious, or, at the very least, possess an arrogance of such depth and breadth and height that, for this reason alone, both should be castigated by the competing local media and run out of town. To refuse to meet with a grieving father and answer his reasonable and "excellent" questions is just flat-out unforgivable and inexcusable. And then there's Dave Najarian....and Mike Molovinsky....and Bernie O'Hare...so petty, and so Allentown, these three stooges. They are just more bullshit for Bill Villa to plow through on his way to redeeming his noble calling. I have never known a stronger and more determined individual.

Here's the real story.
O'Hare was lying to his readers that I had "claimed the magistrate" [in our upcoming court case] "was biased." This isn't true. So I posted several comments, as myself, reasonably and rationally telling O'Hare's readers the true story on this.
O'Hare immediately deleted my comments.
Slammed on his "Comment Moderation."
And put up the (since POOFED) phony and defamatory post update about Villa "hijacking this blog with a cacophony of psychotic commentary."
I sent O'Hare this comment, as myself, which of course never made it through his "Comment Moderation" but which I hope he enjoyed reading:
Hiya Bern. Just you, and me, and Comment Moderation, eh? Cozy. As you and I both know (but you are deftly concealing from your readers), there was no "cacophony of psychotic commentary" from me here this evening. You were lying to your readers when you told them I had claimed "the magistrate is biased" and that I had "asked for another judge." This wasn't true. I tried to tell your readers the real story, in several comments, and you immediately deleted them.
If you can recall correctly (and I can), this is exactly how our blog war started back on August 1, August 8, and August 27.
You: deleting my completely reasonable comments, and then telling your readers you had just deleted "vile personal attacks" or a "cacophony of psychotic commentary."
You're a liar, O'Hare.

"During the month of September, Defendant has engaged in a series of harassing behavior, threatened me with repeated invitation to fistfight while simultaneously threatening another he would be coming after him with "both barrels." Yesterday, he posted the same comment on my blog over 500 times with the intent to annoy, alarm + inconvenience me. He also has been simultaneously posting the same offensive comment over 200 times in one day on other blogs. Further past month, Defendant has posted comments on my blog, Lehigh Valley Ramblings, that have threatened + promised violence. "I'd like to break your jaw in seven different places" is one example. Invitations to a fistfight is another example, he has also threatened other bloggers + continues posting offensive comments after being asked repeatedly to stop."
And here's "The Proof" O'Hare uses to demonstrate to his loyal readers how he knows when an anonymous comment has come in from Bill Villa:

Mr. O'Hare's flip-flop on the Villa matter is a slap in the face to his readers, his former profession, and the memory of a 25-year-old woman who just wanted to go home. After fancying himself a keeper of the torch of truth and integrity for so long, and to the extent that he eventually found himself championing the Villas' cause, his "reversal in thinking" and aggressive behavior is a profound obscenity. Not to mention that his apparent "aquiver" hop into bed with the DA-friendly Morning Call looks like a confederacy of weaklings. Anybody home, Allentown? Feel like moving even farther away.
O'Hare's been messing with the wrong pissed-off dad. His pal Jim Martin should have warned him.

On April 9, 2008, the Republican majority-led Lehigh County Commissioners shot down Democrat County Executive Don Cunningham's "Safe Streets" initiative by a 5-4 vote. Had the initiative passed that April night ... 8 months ago ... $1 million dollars would have been applied to putting more police on the streets in Lehigh County and Allentown-- a pressing need that is blog-posted about frequently by all local bloggers and by B. O'Hare and M. Molovinsky especially.
I understand the $1 million for more cops was subsequently and quietly approved recently (with some folks wiping egg off their faces) and will be applied via Cuningham's 2009 budget.
However, it appears that about a year will have passed between the time more cops COULD have been on the streets and the time they actually WILL BE on the streets.
And a year is a long time to wait when crime is spiraling out of control in Lehigh County and Allentown.
Did you know that Lehigh County's Top Law Enforcement Officer, Republican DA Jim Martin WAS NOT AT the April 9 Lehigh County Commissioners meeting standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Democrat Cunningham and persuading the Republican majority-led Commissioners to "vote yes" for the $1 million dollars for more police?

Jumbo Jimbo was tapping his gargantuan big toe, and swinging and swaying in his seat, while attending a Broadway Show in Manhattan that night-- as the Republican majority-led Lehigh County Commissioners were shooting down $1 million for more cops in DA Martin's crime-infested county.
Annie, don't get your gun just yet.
Incredibly, DA Martin told his pen pal Bernie O'Hare this ... in an e-mail! Yup.
FYI, you never would have known Martin wasn't there on April 9 by the coverage of the Commissioners meeting in The Morning Call the next day. "The Call" wrote the story in such a way that led its readers to believe that Martin WAS there.
Martin wasn't there. And he should have been. And had he been there, there might be more cops on the streets in Lehigh County and Allentown already.
But putting aside the timing of the "Safe Streets" approval and application, my beef is that The Morning Call, and Bernie O'Hare, both protected DA Jim Martin by withholding the truth from their readers. And ... WHY ... is yet another excellent question that deserves to be answered about these crooked and colluding cronies.
I wrote a Letter to The Editor asking why the truth about Martin's absence at that pivotal Commissioners meeting never made it into the "newspaper" but the Editor opted to not publish it.
And B. O'Hare, who had a Juicy Exclusive and an incriminating e-mail from DA Martin decided to QUASH the story too.
O'Hare told me about the Martin e-mail and he expected me to keep quiet about it.
I expected O'Hare to break the story himself.
He never did.
All things considered, I think it was highly unrealistic of O'Hare to expect me to not use it against Jim Martin.
When I started blogging about Martin's absence ... and his whereabouts ... on April 9 ... O'Hare immediately went into attack-dog mode on me and has been barking and snarling and foaming at the mouth ever since.
My guess is that
O’Hare’s Handler and DA Jim Martin Protector #1 has been very pleased.

Subject Heading: Your Cowardly Refusal To Meet With Me
Mr. Martin, I was disappointed--but not surprised--hearing from your office's Crime Victim Advocate Christina Wallace recently that you will "never" meet with me to discuss the reasonable questions I have about your office's handling of my daughter Sheena’s killer’s case an a DUI Homicide case that “resolved” in September 2007 that I’ve been inquiring about.
I thought our first meeting on August 15, 2006 was productive.
At that meeting you didn't even try to conceal your empathy with and support for the homicidal drunk driver who killed my daughter Sheena. And this was valuable information I put to good use in having hundreds of people write letters to you and to the Judge informing you that thousands of people were watching Sheena's case very closely in an election year for both of you. As you know, this 'groundswarm' strategy was the difference between the slap on the wrist (house arrest/work release) Sheena’s killer may have gotten and the 5.5 to 12 years in state prison he is currently serving.
Illuminating and inspiring statements you made to me during our August 15, 2006 meeting with a witness present included:
* "I've received letters of support for the young man (i.e., my daughter Sheena’s killer) and I'm impressed by these letters." (Mr. Martin, I've always assumed these letters came from lawyers at the criminal defendant’s father’s law firm, many of whom have been generous and regular contributors to the Committee to Elect Jim Martin as can be discerned via public records at Lehigh County Voter Registration).
* "Mr. Villa, how would you feel if you were this boy's father?"
* "I'LL COME AFTER YOU! I'LL COME AFTER YOU IN THE MEDIA!" (This one you bellowed at me, the grieving father, when I told you I knew the surrealistically high crash speed that was indicative of the defendant terrorizing Sheena with speed; malice; and third degree murder).
* "Let's hope there's nothing wrong with the blood evidence because if there is I'll have to take that [major] charge off the table."
... which is exactly what you did in the September 2007 DUI Homicide case I’ve been inquiring about-- that is, you had Chief Deputy DA Renee Smith phone the DUI homicide victim’s father, the night before trial, and tell him that the Judge had "tossed" the blood evidence (and this wasn't true) so that you could take the major charge off the table for the criminal defendant's grandfather, a longtime pal of yours.
Mr. Martin, I'm certain you had this same 11th hour major charge drop shell game in mind in February 2007, when you secretly moved my daughter Sheena’s killer’s guilty plea hearing up 10 days, from February 12 to February 2, and purposefully did not inform Sheena's family of this next court date's schedule change.
Had we not heard about this secret date switcheroo (which was executed on January 17, 2007) from a concerned and anonymous insider informant in late January 2007, and had not been in attendance at the guilty plea hearing on February 2, 2007, I'm certain you would have told the Judge the same lie you told him on September 25, 2007 in the other DUI homicide case, and that is ...
that you were withdrawing the major charge (i.e., the charge that carries a state mandatory minimum 3 to 6 year state prison sentence) as "part of a plea agreement that both sides were in agreement with."
I'm sure glad we were tipped off and that Sheena's family was in court on February 2, 2007 forcing you to keep that major 3 to 6 charge on the table through our mere presence.
Unfortunately, the “September 2007” grieving family was not in attendance on September 25, 2007 when their son's killer unexpectedly ditched his next day trial start and pled guilty-- and why not, since you had thoughtfully dropped 9 of the 14 charges against him, including that major 3 to 6 charge, in a night before trial plea deal that the victim’s family was on record as being vehemently against since April 2007 when they found out that their son’s killer had scored a 2nd DUI in Northampton County after killing their son driving drunk.
Helpfully--and erroneously--The Morning Call reported on September 26, 2007 that the victim’s family "had agreed earlier this year to prosecutors dropping the major charge."
The Morning Call has yet to print a retraction or a clarification.
I know all this, Mr. Martin, because I have spoken at length with the father of the DUI Homicide victim in this case. And he has spoken with Lehigh Valley Hospital who informed him that there was nothing inadmissible about the blood evidence your office told him had been "tossed" by the Judge the night before trial because of an error on Lehigh Valley Hospital's part involving the paperwork on the chain of custody of the blood evidence. This was a complete fabrication.
And most damning: the criminal defendant’s grandfather, your longtime pal, who the Villa family has known for 40 years, told my parents, on the steps of the Cathedral, that you and he are longtime friends and that he was an invited guest at your invitation-only swearing-in ceremony in January 2008, 4 months after you had manipulated 18 months in county jail for his grandson, instead of the state mandatory minimum 3 to 6 years in state prison.
In a nutshell, Jim, thousands of Lehigh County voters have your number.
We know how you fix DUI Homicide cases for cronies.
And there's a big difference between 'prosecutorial discretion' (which you can hide behind in my daughter Sheena's case) and flat-out lying-- to a judge, to the victim's family, and about Lehigh Valley Hospital, the night before a scheduled trial.
A district attorney--the county's top law enforcement officer--is not supposed to side with the criminal defendants and against the grieving families of crime victims.
But this is exactly what you do whenever you feel like it.
We are determined to spare future grieving family members of DUI Homicide victims the needlessly cruel added agony of experiencing you siding against their deceased loved one and cutting their loved one's killer the break of a lifetime.
Like you did in my daughter Sheena’s death case by not charging third degree murder when it clearly applied.
Like you did in the “September 2007” case by making that major 3 to 6 charge vanish via flagrant and arrogant abuse of power, the night before trial.
Mr. Martin, our goal is to have you removed from office and disbarred.
And we're telling you this because we want you to see it coming at you like a drunk driver.

I'm 55 years old, a lifelong resident of Allentown, and a 30+ year subscriber to The Morning Call.
I have reason to believe Lehigh County District Attorney James B. Martin is soft on select/connected drunk drivers who kill people.
Even more troubling, I have reason to believe The Morning Call news department facilitates Mr. Martin going easy on select/connected homicidal drunk drivers by way of the information it chooses to include--and not include--in its coverage of these criminal cases.
My only daughter Sheena was killed by a drunk driver on her 25th birthday, March 24, 2006.
Sheena's convicted killer is the son of a prominent local attorney whose law firm has represented The Morning Call for many years.
Numerous members of this law firm have been generous and regular contributors to the Committee to Elect Jim Martin, according to public records at Lehigh County Voter Registration.
During the criminal proceedings against Sheena's killer, I was disappointed and distressed by what I perceived to be a purposefully unenthusiastic prosecution by DA Jim Martin and news coverage by The Morning Call that was slanted in favor of the criminal defendant's family -- especially toward the conclusion of the criminal proceedings.
I respectfully request a meeting with The Morning Call Editorial Board to discuss my concerns regarding the newspaper's coverage of my daughter Sheena's case.

This Week's BNN Gaming Analysis
Pretty simple, really. B. O'Hare and M. Molovinsky spent most of the blessed Christmas Holiday week foaming at the mouth (not that there's anything wrong with that) and frantically keystroking up their own increasingly impotent blogs and those of their accomplice allies (Najarian, Donovan, and Varkony; AJ's on "hiatus") ... while not noticing (!) a rampaging Chris Casey vengefully gaming himself up, and B.O. down, big-time. Looks like all three were gaming The Villas down, O'Hare and Molovinsky for obvious reasons; Casey likely out of embarrassment that The V's topped the LV field at BNN last week and were the 1st locals to beat B.O. (and not him). Sadly, in all this gaming mayhem, O'Hare slipped to #9 (yeow, so much for the best laid plans of mice and "men") and John Micek's terrific "Capitol Ideas" blog (and don't go by the perpetual "0 comments") disappeared from the BNN Top 20 as did The Villas "Lehigh Valley Somebody" blog (wink wink).
