not for his father's unhinged actions ...
nor for Mike D'Amore's (which Ned interjected himself into, like father, like son) ...
but for the precarious legal situation Ned finds himself in, the result of having emailed me a threat of physical violence on September 10, 2010 4:11:18 PM EDT.
While we do appreciate Ned's apology we will likely be moving forward legally just the same.

Readers, curiously, buttinsky 'champion of the oppressed minority of 5 or fewer' Mike Donovan woud NOT interject hisself into this particular "tyranny of the majority" (originated by attorney (for now) Dave Najarian), even though Councilor Donovan's intercession, liaison, and mutually respectful civil mediating skills were solicited by the Villa family.
He told us to basically go pound sand because it was more beneficial for him to stay crony cozy connected w/ Morning Call-affiliated bloggers.
Fuck "justice."

I went to a City Council meeting with Bill on September 1, and the members of Council would not even make eye contact with me or Bill. It was very disturbing to me (Bill's naturally bullet-proof).
Curiously, and whoringly, all the City Council members were openly warm and gracious to proven pathological liars from the local blogosphere and especially bloggers affiliated with The Morning Call "newspaper."
As Bill recounted what took place at Donovan's blog the entire month of March, i.e., a sadistic free-for-all against the Villa family, Council "man" Michael Schlossberg openly laughed at us.
To a person, all 7 Allentown City Council "persons" are disgraceful phony opportunists who could not care less about injustice. I won't be volunteering my time for Allentown anymore, except at Gianni's school. It's truly a Bizarro World here, where evil is viewed as "okay," and people like us who have the "nerve" to speak out and defend ourselves against libelous personal attacks are painted as "bad people." The deck is heavily stacked against Bill, and he is very courageous for standing up and speaking out at City Council, which is really the only public forum available to us, other than this blog.
The Morning Call "newspaper" won't meet with us, and whenever they report on our activities, they skillfully omit important details, and by doing that, they spin out a story that bears little or no relation to the truth.
Our Donovan issue is a public policy issue because Donovan's unholy alliance with out of town "news bloggers" and Morning Call "reporters" who lie and distort the facts dominates Donovan's decision making ... and that's bad for Allentown.
