Oh you betcha. And since it's the only "newspaper" in Allentown (with no competing media, other than this blog, ever daring to adversarially challenge it), The Morning Call can get away w/ character assassination murder of anyone it chooses to kill.
Readers, please take a moment to examine the stunningly obvious deception The Morning Call perpetrated on me (and on its readers) recently, in full view of you, the public.
As you can see, not only did "reporter" Jarrett Renshaw and "columnist" Bill White not tell their readers anything about the nature of the vile, anti-Villas content at Donovan's blog that triggered our complaint against Donovan to the Allentown "Ethics" Board ... Renshaw and White (w/ the approval of their editors) also both quoted the author/perpetrators of all that signed anti-Villas vile at Donovan's blog as testimonial character witnesses for Donovan-- never mentioning that these Donovan "character witnesses" were also the author/perpetrators of all that anti-Villas filth at Donovan's blog. Yep. Them's the inconvenient facts.

By leaving out crucial facts, and spinning the story one way, and only allowing one side to be told, and disabling comments at the story, and linking only to Morning Call associated "news" bloggers who spin it the same way, Bill White and Jarrett Renshaw don't have to deal with defending their dishonest accounts. And that makes it easier for pusillanimous Bill White and Jarrett Renshaw ... that is, tie Bill's hands before you start beating him up, because you both know you will badly lose a fair fight w/ Bill. And you'll lose this unfair fight too, which you should be feeling right about now w/ the tide turning in our favor and it's going to get a whole lot worse for you both.
Question: how come both Bill White and Jarrett Renshaw spent so much of their deceitful Donovan ink on Bill's battles w/ DA Jim Martin? Hmm? What's THAT got to do w/ a story on Mike Donovan and ethics? Oh yeah, everything. Oopsie. Talk about tipping your hand.
Lying is just easier than dealing with controversy or facing us. We publish FACTS at our blog, but both Bill White and Renshaw point out how much they disapprove of the way we defend ourselves here, because FACTS are apparently "hateful." But they have no problem with the personal attacks at the Dave Najarian-created Troll Parade blog and other local blogs up there solely to provoke us. Make us look like the bad guys. But I guess it's okay to attack people if it's disguised in a goofy and unfunny parody which is Bill White's specialty: goofy and unfunny and gorging himself on food. And that Renshaw is just a flat-out habitual liar and anyone who can't see that is blind on purpose.

The Morning Call repeatedly reinforces the reasons that I have not subscribed to it, or any other newspaper for that matter, in well over 15 years.

That was probably Morning Call "Managing" "Editor" Dave Erdman or Dave's assistant editor gopher Mike Miorelli, they're the ones w/ the most to be worried about when this story breaks nationally.
We know it wasn't Glenn Kranzley. Just sayin'.
While I disagree with the Villas in my opinion extreme left-wing political views, but I must say here that seeing such irrfutable proof of the Morning Call protecting "one of its own" (Donovan) even to the point of (yes) out-right lying...in my mind this fortifies the Villas contentions that the paper doesn't tell the truth about Jim Martin and other favorites of theirs like certain local bloggers.

What is astounding about this region, is that if they lie enough ( the powers that be) , it will turn into the truth, sort of like the Emperors Cloths. Timid is not the word, frightened is more appropriate. The Modus Operandi is to shoot the messenger and not get the message. I have evidence that I had contacted the MC over the years about my experience and mums the word. No response but I have a habit of leaving a foot print and a paper trail. I recently E-mailed a reporter and have not gotten any response. But I do suspect that a buzz was created and the cowards have retreated.
The examples of stories, or should I say Fairy Tales, are far too often when local Politicos are concerned. The Baker/Fulmer story on the Streets did not match the story in print. However, the letters to the editor were filled with the adjective " OUT" and statements like "Truth will OUT", revealing that double lives are part of the double speak woven into the zeitgeist of the community- like a 50's revival. One where you go along to get along. I suspect that if the "Cash For Kids" scandal had it roots here,that not one would be prosecuted.
Why have I gotten the impression, from the many observations and interchanges in my quest for Truth, that "extortion" and paying for silence are Virtues rather then Vices. That being the nail that stick OUT is too risky. That many won't spend a nano second outside of their comfort zone to disinfect the psyche that rules the roust.
Just keeping my ear to the ground!
