Donovan's Explosive Meltdown (Accelerates)

8/27 UpDate: Morning Call freelancer and Mrs. "W" Mike Donovan [Diana Morse] foams at the mouth at LVS in a series of angry, profane, and uncivil name-calling emails, see comments section ...

8/25 UpDate: Morning Call cheerleads Donovan joining GOP vs. Mayor Pawlowski ...

8/24 UpDate: Morning Call "newspaper" tries to rescue its colluding crony pal Donovan from himself ...

Donovan's 3,080-word rumination and salute to "reporter" Jarrett Renshaw ...

More hysterical Donovan verbosity & pomposity (how soon can he resign?) ...

Already embittered and embattled Allentown City Council vice president (for now) "W" Mike Donovan (above left, looking like Little Lord Fauntleroy) has once again ignited a local firestorm of disapproval and protest against him.

In "championing" the whinings of a minority of 5 Allentonians, the self-admitted "hard of hearing" Donovan recently succeeded in getting the IronPigs baseball team to hush up(!) its 8-minute fireworks displays that were fan favorites and greatly enjoyed by the IronPigs' East Side Allentown neighbors, see: IronPigs to scale back fireworks shows.

The blistering backlash against Councilor Donovan in dozens of comments at the Morning Call's "Forum" drew this unhinged after-midnight comment from a Forum-hovering Donovan himself, and an astute suggestion from the constituent Donovan was threatening ...

I am the councilman. i am not an opinion poll watcher, and I look out for the minority, when necessary, something which is a benefit of democracy. The city does not get any taxes from the Pigs. There is no Amusement Tax that we receive. If I lived within the reach of that noise and had young children, you can bet I would be complaining about the frequency and lateness. The task was to work out something that would benefit both sides. For Nicholas, the next time you have a concern that perhaps only you and a few others have, but you sincerely feel you are being harmed, I'm not sure if I'll be the right person to ask for help. Best regards, Michael Donovan

How the heck did you ever win an election with that attitude.... Folks listen to this guy. How about you quit now and do the majority a favor ...

Donovan's constituent abuse is continuing in a post called "Fireworks" at his ironically titled blog "Inclusion" (?) where Donovan, oozing self pity, hints that his days as an Allentown elected official may be numbered, voluntarily.

Since most Allentonians now "have Professor Donovan's number ..."

thanks to LVS's exclusive exposé coverage of colluding crony-crooked insider Donovan ...

we agree w/ Forum commenter Nicholas that Donovan should number his days as an elected official at that same number (zero) and resign from Allentown City Council, Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC), the Allentown Parking Authority, and the Allentown Arts Commission immediately.

What Cedar Crest College ultimately opts to do w/ its "Ethics" Professor "W" Mike Donovan will be revealed exclusively here at LVS, ASAP.
