Criminal & Arrest Records of Allentown City Council Members (Part 1)

*

Click on hyperlinks to read Criminal/Docket information at Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System web portal, and remember, sunshine is the best disinfectant for transparency in government.

Editor's Note: Readers, with the exception of Michael Donovan's still publicly accessible criminal docket link, all others have been curiously poofed and rendered inaccessible. LVS has hard copies of all the referenced criminal/arrest dockets if you'd like to see them.

JEANETTE EICHENWALD
(also on A-Town School District Foundation, and a dangerously out of control, defiant repeat offender)

MIKE "GIGGLES" SCHLOSSBERG

* Driving Illegal Unregistered Vehicle while grandstanding a "no cell-phoning while driving" law. What a hypocrite, w/ a prior un-caring, un-inspected vehicle violation in NorCo.

JULIO GURIDY

* "Too important" to stop for traffic signals, thank God he didn't kill anybody.

PETER SCHWEYER

* Disobeying traffic control device and dangerously demonstrating his arrogant belief that he's more important than the rest of us ...

"W" MIKE DONOVAN

* Criminal Harassment, of a neighbor (how uncivil) and their puppy, and don't forget, "Not Guilty" doesn't mean innocent, although here's a famous local exception to that rule.

MIKE D'AMORE, PhD

* "Never Charged" (for now) doesn't mean innocent either.

RAY O'CONNELL

* TBA

Readers, draw your own conclusions, and then vote every one of these 7 scofflaw cockroaches out of office at your first opportunity.

Yeah, great idea Giggles, let's all have a few brews while we discuss the dangers of using a cell phone while driving, and then we can get in our cars to weave home. Hysterical!

Those fines for shamefully reckless "driver" Jeanette Eichenwald seem laughably low.

Only $151.00 (?) for careening through a SCHOOL ZONE 21 MPH OVER, just a year after being clocked (and again, wrist-slapped, only $152?) doing 72 in a 55?

Jeanette must have connections ...

I wonder how the seven City Councilors (for now) are handling this mild little exercise of factual blog grilling?

S'not like they're being accused of necrophilia or anything...

And then dissed by the Allentown Ethics Board ...

assaulted by council's president (for now) ...

power-abused by the Allentown Police ...

and giggled at by Mike Schlossberg.

Big Difference.

Bill, at your next City Council appearance you should confront Jeannette Eichenwald w/ her hypocrisy of being on the Allentown School District Foundation while putting defenseless ASD students at risk via her reckless, repeat-offender driving.

I agree, and will do. It's only a matter of time until Jeanette Eichenwald kills one of our children.

Villas, I checked Norco and found this on Mike "Giggles" Schlossberg ...

Bill Villa said...

I see (and merci), a 2-county spree. Schlossberg's illegal vehicle is unregistered in Lehigh, un-inspected in NorCo, and yet he's whining at the rest of us to get off our cell phones in our legal cars? I'll add this prior Schlossberg run-in w/ the law to the post, thanks again.

My my, what staggering hypocrisy and arrogance on Schlossberg's part-- driving illegal, unregistered, and un-inspected vehicles, in two counties, and then telling the rest of us (in our legal vehicles) to get off our cell phones. Incredible.

But Jeanette's transgressions are the most outrageous by far of course. A former ASD Board Member currently sitting on the ASD Foundation ... scorching past a school at 21 miles per hour over the posted speed limit a year after being clocked & caught doing 72 in a 55. Seems dangerously out of control to me (I know what it's like to have a child killed).

And that's why I'm thinking I need to address the rampant "Scofflaw Syndrome" that characterizes the present Allentown City Council at my very next "Courtesy of the Floor" opportunity on November 17th although I could probably be distracted off of this topic by a Donovan Apology. Let's all play it by ear. Have a nice weekend.

Relentlessly,

My Take...

Sadly, our duped dunce scofflaw Allentown City Council members probably do not possess the mental circuitry and benevolence required to grasp what Bill and Angie are doing (deliciously) in this blog post-- and that is, attempting to elicit some empathy out of City Council by giving them an extremely mild dose of the kind of emotional torture "Team Donovan" inflicted upon the grief-stricken Villa family the entire month of March 2010 at Donovan's blog.

But of course there are major variances in the two blog "attacks." The Villa's (as usual) are presenting FACTS and some justified opinion, while "Team Donovan" was spewing lies, criminal harassment, libel, and sadistic cruelty. Big Difference.

What's sad is that The Villas (always) ingenious strategy probably won't work (oh well). City Council will probably take aghast and totally self-absorbed umbrage over this blog post, and get their pal DA Jim Martin to file more phony charges against Bill in a futile attempt to shut him up.

That won't work neither :) just sayin'. And no way Donovan will apologize. Game on.

Over & Out...

Bill Villa said...

Spot-on analysis (as usual), "LCD," merci, and, Congratulations, you are the recipient of the LVS Best Comment Of The Week Award.

I should point out that whenever I endeavor to engage any of the local powers that be, be it Jim Martin, Glenn Kranzley, Don Cunningham, Dave Erdman, Rick Daugherty, John Micek, or City Council, I always (always) start out from a position of mutual respect, politeness, and civility ...

and this never works.

In my experience, being "civil" only makes it easier for the local powers that be to ignore you, completely.

Then, when you up the ante, and the pressure, and eventually have to resort to applying a full-court press to get their attention ...

the powers that be will then deny you ... because of your "incivility."

That's how things work around here.

Bill Villa said...

My opinion on the ludicrously transparent kiss-blowing and ass-kissing John Micek article on DA Jim Martin in today's "newspaper" ...

There's no way Jim Martin is gonna drag his Fat 'N Boozy ass to Harrisburg for 2 years to "keep the seat warm" in the PA State Attorney General's office. What dutiful sellout John Micek and Martin's Morning Call "newspaper" drinking buddies are doing here is blowing smoke up the depends-laden derrieres of their geriatric (super voter) readers so when Martin "opts" to stay here and "run" (unopposed again?) for another term as DA he looks like a champ for having unselfishly "chosen" Lehigh County over Harrisburg and any personal political ambitions, as if Jimbo has any ambition beyond not falling off the bar stool at the Hogan's Club.

Bill Villa said...

(almost forgot)

I've attempted (repeatedly) to post my justified opinion as a comment at The Morning Call's online article but my comment gets deleted immediately, and repeatedly.

Apparently there are no "under-staffed" problems at the "newspaper" when it comes to muzzling moi.

Readers,
I can't help but notice ...

There's absolutely no "story" in John Micek's "story" on who may succeed Tom Corbett as temporary PA state attorney general. It's all gossip based on, "according to one [un-named] observer," a.k.a. "Jim Martin." Jesus. And not one reelection campaign dollar spent to get your picture on the front page of the "newspaper" for 36 hours. Only in Allentown.

Villas, whatever happened to Chris Casey's plan to follow DA Jim Martin around in a van full of video equipment and capture Martin driving drunk and the APD letting him go again?

Bill Villa said...

Excellent question I don't know the answer to. I do know that Chris Casey ran his "Jim Martin Reality Show" plan by Glenn Kranzley during the meeting Chris and I had w/ Glenno a while back-- the meeting Kranzley agreed to only on the condition that I not be allowed to bring up anything about my daughter Sheena's case and the prosecution of Robert LaBarre.

I remember Glenno not approving of Chris's idea, but I liked it.

Bill Villa said...

Wait, now Chris is endorsing Jim Martin.

The Morning Call (those original thinkers) stole your city council rap sheet story and used it to document state lawmakers past discretions. I think your story on city council scofflaws is more effective than a state rep having a DUI in their past. But then, looking at city council members is a little too close to home for the crony Call crew.
